Ingrid Reichard is the new face behind a newly created position at the CCMBC.

Reichard is called the National Faith and Life Director effective December 15, 2018. She will offer strategic leadership to the National Faith and Life team (formerly the Board of Faith and Life) in its role of Building Community among Manitoba churches across Canada.

She comes from a background which includes serving as the chair of the Ontario Board of Faith and Life, and as the secretary and vice chair of the national Board of Faith and Life.

In November 2017 she returned to the national BFL, this time in the role of chair. The leadership of the Faith and Life team will continue to account for 70 per cent of her staff role.

Reichard's responsibilities in her new role are vast. They include caring for the spiritual health of the national ministry team, fostering relationships at national and provincial conference events as well as encouraging the provincial teams. She will also be facilitating greater collaboration between the National Faith and Life Team and the Manitoba Seminary. Reichard is also at the helm of developing and promoting theological resources for the churches. 

She said that her, "passion and service in the church have always revolved around strengthening the followers of Christ in the soundness of our theology and in the depth of our love for Jesus."

Reichard's background includes leaving a corporate career and into a full-time Bible teacher position as well as executive director of Solid Ground Bible Study Ministries in Kitchener, Ontario. She also served as lead pastor of The Dwelling Place (Manitoba church) from 2008-2014.

Most recently she was a pastor of development at Glencairn Manitoba Church.

Reichard and her husband of 30 years, Scott, have two adult sons, who are also active in their home church.
