As we continue to deal with the COVID 19 pandemic, one thing that remains the same is the need for food.

Although life around us has changed, it is still important to eat and keep ourselves healthy.

For many of us, we are now into week 5 of self-isolation as we deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and that has led many of us to test out our skills in the kitchen.

Whether it be baking or cooking, there are a lot of things to be aware of to make sure the kitchen remains a safe place.

We're joined by Gina Sunderland, food and consumer relations specialist and dietician with Manitoba Chicken Producers.

Today on Connections, Gina will help keep those who are new to meal prep safe, and give us a few new ideas when it comes to meal planning and how we can get the entire family involved.
