Canadian artist Sky Terminal is arriving in Winnipeg this Friday and they want you to join them for a night of 'glowing'.

"Glow Festival is basically an event that encourages people to glow," said Marcel Preston, the lead singer of Sky Terminal. "The heart behind the festival is to bring people together."

On Friday, May 5, Zion Apostolic Church will be hosting the Glow Festival, featuring Canadian artist Sky Terminal, as well as local artist Jordan St. Cyr and Michael Antwi from #TheGodProject.

Preston insists the concert isn't just about the music though. "We want to highlight some organizations that need help and could use some support," he said.

Two of those organizations are Joyful Project and World Vision.

"We want to provide an opporunity for evangelism to happen," Preston said. He wants this to be a night where you invite your friends who don't know Jesus, or those who haven't fully invested yet.

"At the end of the night we want to invite people to recieve Christ"

Preston, who is from Toronto originally, said that he loves coming to Winnipeg and meeting the people who live here.

"I love Winnipeg, amazing people there."

The night will also feature some new songs from Sky Terminal. Tickets are just $15 and the concert gets underway at 6:45 p.m. You can purchase your tickets this week by going online.

"When we partner [with Jesus] we are shining his light and we get to glow what he brings."
