The 14th annual Real to Reel Film Festival is underway and has something for the whole family.

The festival runs from February 20-25 at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church on 1315 Gateway Road in Winnipeg.

"There are so many big-name movies that are coming to the festival this year," says Paul Boge, the organizer of the festival. "We're honoured that Sound of Freedom is playing. Joy Smith was there last night and Maya Schuler was also there and we had a chance to talk about what's happening human trafficking-wise across Canada but also right here in Winnipeg."

A few other faith-based films being shown are After Death made by Winnipegger Stephen Gray, Jesus Revolution, and Big George Foreman.

"One of the great things about the festival is that we have discussions at the end of each film. We have filmmakers or people who know about the topic who come and share at the end of the film. People can ask questions about the film. It's a big cornerstone of the festival because we think it's important for people to interact together about what we're seeing and how does this encourage us in our faith."
