After no sign of Cynthia Parisian, the Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) is continuing to request the public’s assistance in locating the 38-year-old.

WPS says, "Investigators have previously released that Cynthia was last seen during the afternoon of February 17, 2019, at the Home Depot store located at 845 Leila Avenue."

Colleen, Cynthia's youngest sister, says, "We are asking anyone with information to come forward. ... Anything would help."

Constable Rob Carver says they have received tips but, "none that have provided the results that we're looking for."

"We encourage people if they think they have any information to come forward because a tip that turns out to be a false lead is still useful."

Parisian, described as female, Indigenous in appearance, approximately 5’3” in height, with a heavy build, brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing dark pants, a dark jacket, and a pink toque.

Colleen says, "She's not usually known to go missing this long without any sort of contact with any sort of family member whatsoever. She usually tries to contact either me or her mother. ..We still have heard nothing from her at all."

"She wasn't in any trouble at all. She was actually working on her self and doing better for herself. It's definitely odd for her to go missing for sure." - Colleen

Winnipeg Police Missing Persons investigators are requesting that anyone who recalls seeing Cynthia at the Home Depot the day she was last seen, in the immediate area, anytime before or after she was last seen, or anyone who has further information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
