Two people from Winnipeg are in custody after being pulled over by Selkirk RCMP. 

Shortly after 7 p.m. on Friday, March 15, Selkirk RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the side of the road near Highway 204, just east of Ferry Road in the RM of St. Clements. 

When they arrived, they found a man and woman in an unregistered vehicle. After investigating further and searching the vehicle, officers found and seized a handgun, ammunition, cash, leg shackles and 13 grams of cocaine. 

A 33-year-old man and a 45-year-old man were arrested and are facing several firearm-related charges. 

They remain in custody.
