After a few hot and humid days depleted the bottled water supply at Siloam Mission, the organization put out a call for help, and Winnipeg stepped up.

"We just feel so incredibly blessed," said Kathi Neal at Siloam Mission. "I don't think we will have to worry about water for the full summer."

Siloam says they go through almost 2100 pounds of water a week. Yesterday by noon, they already had 8000-9000 pounds of water donated, with more on the way.

"It's very much needed," said Josiah from Siloam. "Thank you everyone."

Neal says that you can see why Manitoba and Winnipeg are considered the most charitable province and city in the country.

"We are so thankful and so blessed," she finished.

If you didn't have a chance to donate water this week, there will be another opportunity on Wednesday, August 2 with Food Fare and CHVN. Tune in for all the details.
