Made in Manitoba artist, Jordan St. Cyr is this month's special guest at ONE Worship Night.

St. Cyr has been busy over the last year, with music writing trips to Nashville, performances, and winning two awards for his music. "Life is good. I just got back from Calgary, where I played a couple shows," he said.

His latest single "Victory" has been doing well on the radio in Canada, consistently charting since its release. Now he's set to release a new single next week. However, St. Cyr says that people at ONE Worship are in for a treat. "You're going to get to hear new music that hasn't been played live yet, as well as the new single."

ONE Worship started in February of 2017. It was born out of a desire to see Christians in Winnipeg and throughout Manitoba put aside any differences there may be and simply come and worship together.

"Most churches would have their own worship service on Sundays," said one of the organizers, Kristjana Hale, before the launch of the nights in February. "There's something special about people getting together and see, 'Hey, it's bigger than my own church here or there.' There's a big body [of Christians] in the city . . . a night like this is really encouraging and promotes unity [in that body]."

St. Cyr says that for him as a worship pastor it's been encouraging to watch the monthly evenings bring the Church of Winnipeg and Manitoba together. "It's amazing, and incredible. It's really neat to see that unity."

ONE Worship kicks off the new fall season this Saturday, September 30, at Calvary Temple (440 Hargrave). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the night begins at 7:00 p.m.

Admission is free, but a free-will offering is taken to both cover expenses, and partner with World Vision and their global projects.

ONE Worship happens the last Saturday of every month.
