A days-long revival at Asbury University in February 2023 not only swept the nation but inspired the new album by Christian singer Jasmine Brady.

Brady's album Lover of My Soul has 10 tracks on it and is set to be released on May 10.

"As I watched the Asbury Revival unfold last year, I noticed they were singing simple songs that everyone knew," says Brady. "They didn’t need complicated lyrics because it was about the worship and not about the song. God began to stir my heart and give me ‘simple songs’ that didn’t take a lot of effort to memorize and could easily be sung in worship to Him."

Brady lives in Tennessee with her husband and their children. On top of singing, Brady also runs a Bible reading podcast called Wholly Holy with her church Regeneration Nashville.

"People are facing impossible situations and Jesus is the only answer. When others sing these songs, I want them to be reminded that God has already won our battles at the cross and no one loves us more than He does. As Psalm 23 reminds us, we may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, but we will fear no evil because He is with us! His love truly is unfailing and never-ending."

Lover of My Soul is Brady's third album, having released Shalom in 2021 and Come Alive in 2022.
