The highly anticipated season four of The Chosen will be available for streaming services soon.

Just over a month ago, Dallas Jenkins shared publicly that season four of The Chosen would be delayed for streaming services after it hit theatres. For the first time ever The Chosen was shown as an entire season in the theatres earlier this year. Three or two episodes played on the big screen over a few weeks and were well-received by audiences.

"I've seen a few things online of people saying, 'Oh man, you know it could be 6 months.' Or 'I don't even know if it's going to come out this year.' That is not the case," says Jenkins on YouTube, talking about the season four release. "It will be well before then. I can't give you an exact date but we are hopeful that it will be sometime in the near future. It's not going to be three months. It's not going to be that long. It will be shorter than that."

On top of this announcement, Jenkins shared how April 11 was the first day of filming for the cast and crew for The Chosen season five in Utah.

"The scripts for season five have been completed and the response we've been getting from the cast and crew has been so cool. They've been saying, 'This is the best season yet.' Season five as you might know covers Holy week and I ask for your prayers and support in all of this."

For all its seasons, The Chosen has been streamed more than 500 million times and has now been seen by more than 108 million people since it premiered.

"I'm sad to say that the legal matters that we are dealing with for season four are still happening. We are working on it every day. I know you want to see it on streaming and we're working on it."
