The Jets are hoping the power of a Winnipeg Whiteout will help them overcome the Colorado Avalanche.

The Winnipeg Jets downed the Seattle Kraken 4-3 last night at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg. The victory ensured the Jets will finish the season in second place in the Central Division which means they'll have home ice advantage for round one of the playoffs when they host the Colorado Avalance.

Tyler Toffoli scored a power play goal in the third period, helping the Jets break a 3-3 tie. Kyle Connor had added two goals earlier in the evening, and Nikolaj Ehlers had the other goal for the Jets.

Connor Hellebuyck made 20 saves and tied a season-high with his fifth straight win. It was also the seventh straight win for the red hot Jets, who have outscored their opponents 31-13 over the course of the win streak.

The Jets end the regular season against the mighty Vancouver Canucks Thursday night on home ice.

The first games in the 2024 NHL playoffs are set to begin on Saturday, April 20. However, it's yet to be determined when the Jets will play.
