With nearly 40 nominations between them all, there was little doubt that Manitoba artists would be walking away with some hardware at the 39th annual Covenant Awards in Edmonton this past weekend.

Nine artists and groups were nominated in a variety of categories. Winnipegger Steve Bell was also honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
