Summer in the City is the premiere festival celebrating everything that makes Southeastern Manitoba great, and this year promises to be even better than the last.

As Executive Director of the Steinbach Arts Council, David Klassen coordinates stage and production at Summer in the City. He says they always make sure the quality of the festival’s headliners is high.

“We keep improving from year to year, and James Barker Band is a big part of that this year. And The Titans of Rock is an awesome tribute with a great 80s vibe. We’ll have just a good party atmosphere for Friday night and Saturday night.”

Summer in the City Board Chair Audrey Harder says they feel very lucky to have secured James Barker Band, and The Titans of Rock who always perform not one, but two amazing tribute shows. It all adds up to two back-to-back concert experiences here in the heart of Steinbach!

James Barker Band hits the Mainstage Friday June 14th, delivering hits like New Old Trucks, Lawn Chair Lazy, and Summertime with a ton of their trademark charisma.

“They may be Juno Award-winners, but with every performance they’re known for staying true to their small-town roots while entertaining sold-out crowds,” shares Harder.

The Titans of Rock headline the Mainstage Saturday June 15th, bringing electrifying Bon Jovi and Journey performances to downtown Steinbach.

“With hits like Livin’ on a Prayer and Don’t Stop Believin’, you know you’ll be singing at the top of your lungs alongside thousands of your closest friends!” enthuses Harder.
