There were no injuries reported after a fire in a Weston home on Tuesday afternoon.

At 1:10, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to reports of a fire in a vacant, boarded-up single-storey house in the 1400 block of Roy Avenue. 

Crews launched an offensive attack as heavy smoke was coming from the structure and fought the blaze from inside. The fire was declared under control at 1:39 p.m.

Firefighters searched the building and no occupants were found. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
