Marvic Abarra and Eileen Manalo are the co-owners of a faith filled cafe in the city, Caked With Love.

Almost two years ago the two friends from Today's Church were talking about their dreams. If they could do any job regardless of finances, what would they do? Marvic said run a coffee shop, and Eileen said run a bakery. They decided that if possible, a few years down the road, they might start something together. However, after a quick scan of Kijiji, Marvic found that there was a coffee shop for sale at that time. They went to look at it just to get ideas for the future, but before they knew it they were signing the papers and took possession a month from when their idea first began, opening one week later.

"This is our main ministry every day from morning to night. We've had people literally walk in through the door and they have no idea why they're here. They've said they did a u-turn because they know they had to come in here. And we just know that's Him [God]. That's Him working behind the scenes." Manalo explains, "I kind of see it as a place of refuge for people without them even knowing it."

"We've just seen this place flourish. And some of our customers actually start [attending church]. They've committed to God, they wanted to learn more, to receive Jesus in their hearts. That's the greatest thing ever." Abarra describes.

"Now nothing is impossible!" The two shout, "If He did this, what else can He do?" Abarra asked. "We're just normal people, there's nothing special about us. We just decided to put God first."
