Rain, snow and wind are all contributing factors to a delay in yard waste pick up.

The City of Winnipeg announced today that, due to weather conditions, collection of yard waste is expected to be delayed over the next few weeks.

Crews will be working weekends and as late as 10:00 p.m. to try and catch up, baring any more weather problems.

The City is asking residents with yard waste to put it out on your collection day and leave it there until it gets picked up. If this was your collection week, call 311 if it has still not been picked up by 10:00 p.m. on Sunday.

If you are finding it unsightly, you can take your yard waste to a 4R Winnipeg Depot. One is located at 1120 Pacific Avenue and another at 1777 Brady Road.
