Two busy Winnipeg streets temporarily closed for construction

Two busy city streets will be temporarily closed this week due to construction.

Stafford Street from Grant Avenue to Taylor Ave will be temporarily closed from 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18 until 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. The closure will accommodate sewer work.

Garry St. from Ellice Ave to Portage Ave is also temporarily closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18 while crane work is being done.

The City of Winnipeg asks motorists to use alternate routes while these closures are in effect.
