After calling it quits in 2020, popular Christian band Tenth Avenue North is back.

In February 2020, the band announced an amicable end to the band as they wanted to spend more time with their families and pursue other careers.

"I wanted to give you a little update on the status of Tenth Ave," says Donehey in a recent Instagram live video also posted to Facebook. "I want to get into the nitty-gritty of why we are 'breaking up' per se. There's been no hard feelings with the band members. We were planning on taking a break from touring to be home more, but it ultimately turned into the band dissolving."

The band performed a farewell tour before dissipating in 2021.

On Thursday, Mike Donehey, lead singer of the band, made a post on social media announcing Tenth Avenue North is back.

"Tonight at midnight, it will be Nov. 10, which means tonight at midnight, Tenth Avenue North is back!" said Mike Donehey. "New song, 'Suddenly,' will be released tonight at midnight. That's right, baby! New music. New faces. Same mission. Lifting shame. One song at a time."

Donehey says there is plenty more excitement to come, including a special event in Nashville on April 6, 2024.

He ended by letting fans know they will have a fall tour next year.

"Can't wait. Jump on. Let's go!"
