The Winnipeg Police Service says they are searching for a third suspect regarding a homicide that occurred on May 21.

Brennan Bruce MacDonald, 17, is currently a suspect in the homicide of a 23-year-old man.

On May 21, police found a 21-year-old victim on the steps of a home in the 700 block of Selkirk. That man was later declared as deceased in hospital. On May 27, police, along with the WPS Tactical Support Team, arrested two individuals at an Exchange District-area hotel. 

Police believe the homicide was gang-related.

Today, the WPS is announcing that they have issued a Canada-wide search warrant for 17-year-old Brennan Bruce MacDonald. Police allege the teen was involved in the homicide. The teen is wanted for First Degree Murder. 

MacDonald is six feet tall, 133 lbs, and of a thin build. He is indigenous in appearance.

Police are warning residents to not approach the teenager.
