You might see a snow plow or two on the city streets this morning.

More than 80 city plows hit the streets on the weekend after the first major snowfall of the season.

The City of Winnipeg says that they began with plowing major streets on Saturday night and have now wrapped up operations on Priority One streets. Crews are currently plowing priority two streets, and hope to finish this morning.

Crews are also plowing sidewalks and active transportation paths adjacent to priority one and two streets.

There are no parking bans currently in effect. The annual snow route parking ban is going into effect tonight, December 1st at 2am. You cannot park on any snow route between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
