Roads have reopened, and residents have returned home following a fire Sunday that destroyed a lumber yard on Logan Avenue.

Fire crews responded to Anco Lumber in the 900 block of Logan Avenue around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Firefighters remained at the scene overnight and into Monday, working to get the blaze under control.

A demolition crew removed parts of the building to ensure fire crews could access hot spots and extinguish the blaze.

Residents who were evacuated were able to return to their homes.  All roadways around the scene of the fire are open to traffic.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
