Manitoba RCMP are calling on drivers to stay safe, especially this Canada Day long weekend.
In a press release, RCMP say that nine Manitobans have lost their lives in motor vehicle collisions in the last seven days.
In the last 7 days, 9 Manitobans have died in motor vehicle collisions. #rcmpmb is reminding drivers to drive sober, wear a seatbelt, drive for conditions, put your cellphone away, & pay attention to the road at all times. We want everyone to reach their destination safely.

With the long-weekend approaching, and increased traffic expected on our highways as Manitobans head to beaches, cottages, camp sites, and other holiday destinations, RCMP are asking drivers to drive sober, wear a seatbelt,slow down and drive to conditions,be cautious and always aware of your surroundings, pay attention to the road at all times,keep a safe distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you, and put your cellphone away.
