Manitoba RCMP officers are searching for a woman who they believe seriously assaulted someone in the early hours of Thursday morning.

On May 21, East St. Paul officers responded to a call in West St. Paul regarding an injured woman. The woman reportedly was on Pipeline Road in the RM of West St. Paul, seeking help from a nearby home.

Police arrived to find the victim suffering from serious injuries and was transported to the hospital.

32-year-old says she was assaulted in Winnipeg, was driven to the area, assaulted again, and left in a ditch, suffering from her injuries.

Police are charging a 33-year-old woman in connection to the assault, but are searching for a second suspect.

The 33-year-old suspect is facing the following charges:

  • Attempt Murder
  • Kidnapping
  • Aggravated Assault
  • Forcible Confinement 
  • Sexual Assault

A second woman, Amy Heinrichs, is being searched for by the police. She is wanted for:

  • Attempt Murder
  • Kidnapping
  • Aggravated Assault
  • Forcible Confinement 
  • Sexual Assault

Authorities descript the woman as having brown hair and brown eyes and of a large build. She has a tattoo on her upper left arm.

The 39-year old suspect lives in Winnipeg but has ties to the Fisher Branch and Peguis areas.
