The Winnipeg Police Service says a woman who was last seen in March has been safely located.

The Winnipeg Police Service was seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing woman last seen at the end of March.

Police say the woman was last heard from on May 7 but has not reportedly been seen in person since the end of March. She was last seen in the south Pembina Highway area of Winnipeg before she went missing.

The woman is 5'4 with long black hair and of a slim build. She is Indigenous and was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey hoodie with an unknown logo and dark-coloured jeans. Police say she is transient.
