Travellers driving along Highway 75 will notice a significant amount of construction work underway along the major thoroughfare.

About a mile of the northbound lanes from the U.S. border to PR 243 is being reconstructed, which includes improvements to the intersection at PR 243 and reconstruction of PR 200 to the east of Highway 75.

Concrete repairs are being made to the southbound lanes at various locations and work on replacing the culvert at Kronsgart Drain continues.

The province has earmarked $16 million to create the flood-proof alternate route to PTH 75 and $50 million overall has been allocated for this year's construction work.
