Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister has shown no interest in abandoning daylight savings time, but a small number of apparently passionate Manitobans have been giving him an earful about having to change their clocks twice a year.
Documents obtained by The Canadian Press show the premier received six emails, unprompted, from members of the public between September and December last year on the subject.

One email said Manitoba should stop letting Saskatchewan, which remains on standard time year-round, be smarter. Another asked the premier to pull his head out of another part of his anatomy and stop the time-change.
Not everyone was opposed to daylight time -- one person emailed to say it should remain in order to preserve late summer evenings.
