The Winnipeg Police Service is once again asking members of the public to come forward with anything that may help in locating a missing Winnipeg woman.

Cynthia Parisian has been missing since February 17, 2019. She was last seen at a Home Depot store on Leila Ave in Winnipeg.

The Winnipeg Police Service would like to remind the public that her disappearance is still being actively investigated, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Missing Person’s Unit or Crime Stoppers.

Parisian is described as an Indigenous female, 5’3", with a heavy build, brown hair and brown eyes.

At a press conference in August Parisian's family also asked for help.

"She wasn't in any trouble at all," Parisian's youngest sister, Colleen, says. "She was actually working on her self and doing better for herself. It's definitely odd for her to go missing for sure."

Const. Rob Carver of the WPS said at the August press conference that police had received tips but, "none that have provided the results that we're looking for.

"We encourage people if they think they have any information to come forward because a tip that turns out to be a false lead is still useful."
