Police have three people in custody after a 17-year-old and 20-year-old were bound with tape as their home was being robbed.

On Friday night at 11:48 p.m. police arrived to the scene of a home invasion. 

Police say a home in the first 100 block of Celina Cove was broken into, with the house's two occupants being taped and bound.

The suspects stole large amounts of marijuana from the home, as it was known to have a legal growing license. Police say the suspects took numerous other items as well.

The three suspects then attempted to hide from police, jumping through yards. 

Using the AIR1 helicopter and the K9 Unit, police were able to take them into custody.

 A 41-year-old male of Winnipeg is facing charges of:

  • Break Enter & Commit Robbery - Dwelling House
  • Forcible Confinement
  • Uttering Threats - Cause Death or Bodily Harm
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order

A 47-year-old from Winnipeg and a 28-year-old from Fort Alexander are facing Break Enter & Commit Robbery - Dwelling House charges.
