An arrest has been made in a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred last fall.

On September 4, 2018, a semi-truck struck and killed a cyclist when it failed to stop at a red light in the intersection of Lagimodiere Boulevard and Bishop Grandin Boulevard.

The driver is a 41-year-old male from Brandon, Manitoba. He has been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death under the Criminal Code of Canada.

He has been released on a Promise to Appear, as per the Criminal Code.
