Police investigating suspicious death as homicide

To conclude a busy weekend for police, the public is being asked for any information about a suspicious death in Winnipeg.

The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) received a report of an adult male who was unresponsive in the 800 block of Bannatyne Avenue around 11:36 a.m. Sunday.

He was determined to be deceased by emergency personnel upon arrival.

At this time, the man's death is being investigated as suspicious by the WPS homicide unit.
