Renowned worship artist, Phil Wickham has released the second song that will be featured in his upcoming album, telling the story of Easter.

On Friday, Wickham announced "Sunday is Coming," which is the second song he's releasing this year—the first being "This is our God.," released back in January.

"With this song, we set out to tell the Easter story as best as we could in song. The story of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus is the greatest story ever told, and the best part about it is that it’s TRUE," says Wickham in a Facebook post. "This is Hope, this is salvation, this is love, this is the Gospel. And it’s not just a story of something that HAPPENED, it’s also a story of what is still HAPPENING! Every day people all over the world are calling on the name of Jesus and stepping into the resurrection victory that Jesus won!"

Then, earlier today, the singer shared on Facebook that he never gets tired of sharing the story of Easter and Jesus' resurrection and victory.

"I hope it helps to point your heart and eyes to Jesus. How he rescued you. Died for you. LIVES for you. Let this Easter season be filled with more wonder and celebration and worship than any before as the reality of God’s love, the cross and the empty grave floods your soul in clearer and bigger ways than ever before. Friday is good cause SUNDAY IS COMING!"

Wickham also shares this newest single is the second song included in his upcoming album that has no release date announced.

The gospel singer was recently nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song at the Grammys and is currently on the Singalong Tour 2023 with Matt Maher and Leeland until mid-April.
