The Luis Palau Association says that huge numbers came out to a week-long crusade in the country of Colombia and they're celebrating the fruit from that week.

The association says that over 200,000 people came out to the crusades which took place in the Bogotá capital region in Columbia.

Perhaps most impressively was the fact that the crusade took place with the help of 852 churches partnering together.

The crusade was led by Luis Palau's son, Andrew, with the first two days, August 17-18, at Plaza de Bolívar, the same location as the original Luis Palau event in 1966 according to National Religious Broadcasters (NRB).

"What a great expression of unity," Andrew said in an online video from the start of the final night of the crusade. "And the results of it that God promises -- richness, refreshing, and eternal life He says in Psalm 133 -- we're seeing it as so many are responding to the Gospel already."

On August 20 alone, 12,700 people made a public confession of faith in Jesus Christ, according to the association's Facebook page.

In total 18,545 made a decision to follow Jesus during the crusades seven different events. Another 410,000 people watched online.

“Expectations are sky high and God is clearly going before us and working,” Andrew Palau shared as he prepared to leave for Bogotá according to NRB. “Now we get the opportunity and joy to deliver the life-changing message of God’s love. I love our part!”
