The RCMP is asking for help in locating a British Columbia woman and her 3-month-old son that have not been seen in a month.

Police on Vancouver Island say they received missing person reports on Monday, January 24, for Jacqueline Nelson and her son, Kane Nelson.

Jacqueline Nelson and her infant son Kane were last seen by family on January 4, 2022.

The RCMP says that on January 24, 2022, the family received electronic communication but it has not been confirmed that it was directly from Jacqueline.

Police have reason to believe that Jacqueline may have been in Manitoba around January 27, 2022. This has yet to be confirmed and it is not known if she is still here.

Jacqueline Nelson is described as

• 38 years old
• 5’ 3” (160 cms)
