A man and a woman have been convicted in Winnipeg of the first-degree murder of an Ethiopian immigrant.
John Tuil Jok was gunned down in 2017 in a rooming house.
The two individuals have each been sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years.
Jok, whose early life included three years living in a refugee camp in Kenya, immigrated with his family to Canada in 2003.
