A song that started as a journal entry and then a viral post on social media is now RIAA Certified Gold.

Singer, songwriter and Billboard Chartbreaker Katy Nichole received a plaque from Centricity Music this week for her debut single, 'In Jesus Name (God of Possible).'

The song became the biggest hit this decade on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart, crowning the list for a record-breaking 20 weeks.

This song also launched a breakout year for Nichole that found her nominated for awards, co-hosting and performing on the GMA Dove Awards Pre-Telecast and realizing her second straight No. 1 hit with 'God is in this Story.'

'Hold On,' Katy's third single from her debut album Jesus Changed My Life, highlights her personal story of holding on in her darkest moment. It is currently in the top 5 and expected to hit the top of radio charts shortly.

Katy is preparing to go on tour with Cain and David Leonard this fall, with a few dates in Canada, September 5-7.
