If you have no plans for lunch Wednesday, the Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba (CNCM) is inviting you to join them at their fifth annual Stone Soup fundraiser.

The event takes place at the Manitoba Hydro Place Gallery from 11:15 am to 1:15 pm. There will be twelve different soups made from different restaurants and organizations across Winnipeg.

The minimum donation you can make is $10, and that will go to support CNCM and their fight to provide children and teens with healthy snacks every day through non-profit nutrition programs.

The soups are in for a special prize, and the attendees get one ballot to vote for your favorite soup, and the winning soup will be selected by four guest judges.

If you can't attend, but would still like to donate money to their cause, visit the CNCM website for more information.
