RCMP officers are asking the public for their assistance after two people stole from a Portage la Prairie vendor.
A Saskatchewan Avenue beer vendor is down two 12-packs of an alcoholic beverage after an employee was assaulted.
On Wednesday night at 9:45 p.m. in Portage la Prairie, officers received a call regarding a robbery.
(RCMP Manitoba)A male and female earlier entered the store to make a purchase but were unable to produce identification. The pair left, but then returned a short time later. The pair then jumped over the counter, assaulted the employee, and then sprayed him with bear spray.
They took two 12-packs and fled.
Portage la Prairie RCMP say they have video footage of the event and are hoping the public can identify the pair.
