There's a new home run king in Winnipeg.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes were trailing the Sioux Fall Canaries 2-1 in the bottom of the ninth inning Saturday evening at Shaw Park when Reggie Abercrombie stepped up to the plate. With Wes Darvill on base and Abercrombie down 0-2 in the count, Abercrombie sent a high fly ball over the left field wall.

The home run was Abercrombie's 91st in a Goldeyes uniform, passing Josh Mazzola for the franchise career record.

The Goldeyes have just two games left in their season after failing to make the playoffs this year. They face the Canaries Sunday and Monday afternoon at Shaw Park with both games starting at 1:00 p.m.
