A Manitoba entrepreneur is helping inventors take their idea and make them into reality, and his faith plays a big role in that success.

Phil Dupuis is the owner of Be Unlimited, a product development company he started in 2010.

He firmly believes that you can be unlimited, "because God has made you to be unlimited." Dupuis goes on to explain that that's because we are made in God's image and likeness.

"That's the heart of our business," he said.

The process of their service goes right from the very beginning at "the napkin stage," where you may have an idea and have it drawn out or even just an idea.

"We can help somebody right from that stage all the way to getting it on the shelves of a store"

Dupuis explains from that early initial stage, the idea will then go on a computer to get a 3D design. There is then sampling, prototyping, testing and then manufacturing.

Be Unlimited outsources their manufacturing in collaboration with faith-based companies.

Once the product is manufactured, Be Unlimited takes it in and imports it and then they come alongside the customer to help with marketing ideas for the newly invented product.

One local client who Dupuis is working with had a product idea that is now being sold online. From that, they have developed a line of eight more products to go with the initial product.

Dupuis said that "retailers are now starting to open their eyes at this potential of this product. We're really excited."

Another local client created, with the help and guidance of Be Unlimited, a product to protect hockey goalies' knuckles. That product is now patent pending thanks to Dupuis' help and is shipping out to NHL teams for testing.

"This product is not a product for the game, but it's a product for practice/warmup," Dupuis said. "Getting hit or injured during practice is the worst time to get that done."
