The Winnipeg Police Service is looking for video surveillance following a shooting in St. James early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the area of Portage Avenue and Parkview Street at around 1 a.m. following reports of shots being fired in the area.

At the scene, officers located two males suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to hospital in critical condition.

The Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, and members of the Forensic Identification Unit remain on scene.

A number of streets in the area have been blocked off as police investigate.
