Police say a 16-year-old boy has been killed in a collision between a snowmobile and a semi-trailer in a provincial park in Manitoba.

RCMP say two snowmobiles were travelling along a logging road in Duck Mountain Provincial Park January 29, when one collided head-on with the truck.

The snowmobile driver from the Rural Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 17-year-old boy driving the other snowmobile and the 32-year-old truck driver from the Rural Municipality of Swan Valley West were not injured.
