Game 1 belongs to the Jets

Adam Lowry and Kyle Connor each scored twice as the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Colorado Avalanche 7-6 Sunday night in front of a sold-out white-out crowd of 15,225 at Canada Life Centre in game one of the NHL's best-of-seven Western Conference quarterfinal series. 

It was Connor's third career multi-goal playoff game while Lowry played in his 45th career post-season game passing Blake Wheeler for sole possession of first place in franchise history.

"[Life's] been busy," says Chiwaz. "Our firstborn girl, she's five. Then the two boys, a three-year-old and a one-year-old. The house is crazy right now but good. We love it though. I've been home for the past couple weeks and it's just been a great time with my kids."
