After being away from the Winnipeg Jets for one week due to a 'minor medical procedure,' Rick Bowness is set to be back Tuesday night.
The team posted to Facebook earlier to share the exciting news with fans.
Fans took to the comment section to share the excitement. "That’s more like it! Welcome back coach! Go Jets Go!!!! ✈️👏," one said. Another fan said, "Welcome back Bowness. Let's go boys. Big game tonight."
While Bowness was away from the team, the Jets went 1-3-0 under Associate coach Scott Arniel.
The Jets are on home ice tonight against the Edmonton Oilers. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
