THE COLOR

ONE SURE THING

Listen Live

Perhaps things had gone a little too far with the whole #whiteout thing. The Winnipeg Jets flight to Minneapolis, MN was diverted to Duluth, MN yesterday due to a large snow storm.

After some time in Duluth, the team flew back to Winnipeg Saturday afternoon and would try again on Sunday.

Minneapolis and St. Paul are experiencing record-breaking snowfalls this weekend.

According to the United States' National Weather Service, between 30 and 40 centimetres of snow has fallen on the Twin Cities this weekend.

However, the Jets arrived this morning on their second travel attempt in Minneapolis with plenty of time before tonight's game.

The Jets currently lead the first round playoff series 2-0. A win tonight at the Excel Energy Center would give them a tight grip on taking the series.

Minnesota's head coach Bruce Boudreau, according to reports, says it's a non-issue for a playoff ready team like the Jets. He expects them to be ready despite the wild travel and change in plans.

Game time tonight is 6:00 p.m.
