There isn't much time left to get rid of your yard waste.

The City of Winnipeg is ending curbside yard waste collection by the end of the month. If you still have yard waste to get rid of, you'll want to put it out by the curb on your collection day.

Area 'A' has one more week for yard waste collection. Yard waste will be collected November 13-17.

Area 'B' have one more chance to have the City pick up their yard waste. November 20-24 is the final week for them.

You can put yard waste in any reusable container without a lid, cardboard boxes, or in a paper yard waste bag. Plastic bags are not accepted and will not be picked up. Yard waste can include outside organic materials or small bundles of branches that are no longer than one metre or heavier than 22 kilograms. Dirt, rocks, logs, sod and litter are not accepted.

You can find out what collection area you are in by calling 311 or visiting the City of Winnipeg's website.
