Downtown Winnipeg will be filled with excitement Saturday afternoon as Winnipeggers cheer on the Winnipeg Jets in game three of their first-round Stanley Cup playoff series.
For the first time in four years, Winnipeg will again play host to Whiteout Street parties.
"As the home of unforgettable playoff street parties, we know how to do this right, and we're excited to have an opportunity to recapture the spirit and energy of 2018 and 2019 as we come together in celebration of our Winnipeg Jets and showcase our city to the world," said Dayna Spiring, President & CEO, Economic Downtown Winnipeg (EDW).
Reminder: To accommodate the #Winnipeg Whiteout Street Party, @winnipegtransit buses will be rerouted off of Graham Ave. between Kennedy St. and Smith St. today from noon to approximately one hour after the game has ended. More info: https://t.co/sazDWLnuAI

The first of two planned parties will take place Saturday afternoon. Party gates will open two hours before puck drop on Donald Street between Portage Avenue and Graham Avenue. Each event has a capacity of 5000 people.
As a result, there will be several traffic disruptions in downtown Winnipeg. Donald Street will be completely closed from Ellice Avenue to St. Mary Avenue, and Graham Avenue will be closed from Hargrave Street to Smith Street.
Buses will also be rerouted off of Graham Avenue between Kennedy Street and Smith Street from noon until approximately one hour after the game has ended.
The Winnipeg Jets are tied 1-1 with the Vegas Golden Knights. The Jets took the first game 5-1, while the Golden Knights defeated Winnipeg 5-2 in game two. Puck drop for game three is 3 p.m.
