The Winnipeg Ice opened the month of December on the wrong end of a 4-3 score Friday night at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena.

Josh Filmon opened the scoring for Swift Current 8:14 into the game. The Ice then had three unanswered goals to take a two-goal lead, but they couldn't hang on.

Matthew Savoie, Owen Pederson and Carson Lambos replied for the Ice to give them a 3-1 lead early in the second period.

Clarke Caswell, Owen Pickering and Raphael Pelletier then combined for three unanswered goals to give the Bronco their first win of the season against Winnipeg.

The Ice outshot the Broncos 32-24. Reid Dyck earned the victory in net for the visitors while Winnipeg's Daniel Hauser saw his personal 16-game winning streak come to an end.
