Matthew Savoie's 13th goal of the season was the lone marker Wednesday night in Moose Jaw as the Winnipeg ICE dropped a 3-1 decision to the Warriors.

Zach Benson extended his point streak to six games (six goals and six assists for 12 points) with an assist.

Ryder Korczak recorded his second hat-trick of the season scoring all three Warrior goals. The 20-year-old also finished the game winning 21 of 25 face-offs.

Winnipeg out shot Moose Jaw 35-24. Savoie and Korczak each had a game-high seven shots.

Connor Ungar earned the victory in goal while Daniel Hauser suffered the loss.

The Warriors went 1/5 on the power play while the ICE were 0/3.

The ICE return to action Friday (6:00) and Saturday (5:00) at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena when they host the Saskatoon Blades.
