What to do in Winnipeg this weekend

Manitoba is 149 years old this year and Manitoba Day is being celebrated this weekend! And it's Mother's Day, too! Lot's of fun activities to do with the family, check them out!

Tapescape Grand Opening

The summer exhibition Tapescape is all ready to go and just waiting for you to explore! There's climbing, sliding, and lots of STEAM based creative learning to be had. The U of W and the U of M's Let's Talk Science will be leading hands-on experiments and demonstrations. Stick with it for more fun and create a tissue paper stained glass ornament that will light up any room with bright and beautiful colours.

Science Rendezvous

Come for a science/engineering/art mash-up carnival unlike any other, providing a free day of fun and discovery for all Manitobans. This includes over 50 activities for the whole family, spectacular interactive exhibits, hands-on displays, and free shows.

Manitoba Day @ Children's Museum

It's a perfect day to learn more about the province that we call home. There will be celebrating of our province's iconic nature from polar bears to the prairie crocus! With a take-home craft, special activities, as well as hands-on science experiments led by Let's Talk Science teams, it's an extra special day at the museum!
