Union Gospel Mission (UGM) is praying for 24 hours straight, specifically for those that call the North End and Downtown home.

"We are starting at 6 p.m. on Friday until Saturday at 6 p.m.," says UGM Development Manager, Martin Chidwick.

"Number one, we want to be filled with the knowledge of God's will and all wisdom in what we're doing. We want to walk worthy of the Lord, we want to please Him. We want to praise Him and be fruitful and strengthened," he continues.

The main goal is to build the relationship of the church family within the community.

"We delight in prayer and praise with fellow believers. We are privileged to pray for the church family that supports us and for the individuals who love Jesus as well," Chidwick says.

People are welcome to come to 320 Princess Street anytime between 6 p.m. on Friday and 6 p.m. on Saturday to join in for prayer.

"We ask for prayer requests and praise reports to be submitted because we feel that strengthens our community and our mission that we're on."
